The 15-year-old captured in a viral photograph receiving job training from crew members at a North Carolina Target went in for his final job interview Thursday night and finally got word that he completed the 3-step job interview process.
“I really appreciate you coming in tonight,” Chick fil-A restaurant owner David Langston told 15-year-old Yasir Moore. “I think we are ready to offer you a job at Chick-fil-A of Triangle Town Center mall.”
Langston congratulated the young teen on his new job and officially welcomed him into the restaurant family.
But on top of getting the job, there was another very special surprise waiting for Moore.
The Target team that gave the young teen words of wisdom and helped him get ready for his first job interview met with Moore and his mother, Najirah Parrish, after his second interview. Moore got the chance to thank the target team that helped him get ready for his first job interview
And then again, the same team in red was waiting for him at the Chick-Fil-A of Triangle Town Center mall to surprise him and personally congratulate him on his new job, as well as help him tie his new Chick-fil-A tie.
Moore’s mother was very thankful that her son was treated so well by the Target employees, saying, “They could have just sold my son a tie. But they took the time, helped him tie the tie and talked to him. They treated my son with dignity, respect.”
Once strangers, the kind moment has connected the group.
“They’re like family to me now, because they helped me so much,” said Moore.
