A mother’s son was kidnapped by ISIS and held prisoner in Mosul, Iraq. The mother, an elderly Kurdish woman, was determined to get him back, so she went to the ISIS headquarters and demanded to see her son.
Yasir Abdulla, a man who travelled from the UK to fight ISIS in Iraq, told The Sun, “the ISIS men told her to sit down because she had travelled a long way and said she should have some food before they took her to meet her son.”
“They brought her cups of tea and fed her a meal of cooked meat, rice and soup. She thought they were kind. But they had killed him and chopped him up and after she finished the meal and asked to see her son they laughed and said ‘You’ve just eaten him.'”
Abdulla also spoke of other horrendous things ISIS has done in Iraq, including how the group’s captured prisoners are often killed by being thrown into a “human bonfire” and burned alive.
Abdulla, who is a husband and a father of four, said he is determined to return to Iraq soon to help the Kurds in their fight against the barbaric ISIS.
