Dancing Man Fat-Shamed, Now Thousands Of Women Are Throwing Him A Party

When an unnamed man was shamed for dancing in public, a tribe of body-positive women launched a Twitter search to throw him the ultimate dance party in Los Angeles, California, Huff Post wrote.

They found him, and he said yes.

It all started when an anonymous person posted two pictures of the man on the message board 4Chan with the messed up caption, “Spotted this specimen trying to dance the other week,” the poster wrote. “He stopped when he saw us laughing.”

The first photograph shows him dancing happily, while in the second he looks crushed and embarrassed.

Dancing Man fat-shamed by bullies

The screenshot of the post was uploaded to Imgur by the user FrozenBadger and was labeled “Why I Hate Children.” “I find this behavior f*****g despicable,” FrozenBadger wrote. “If you’re out there big man, f***those kids. Keep dancing.”

The post gained nearly 750,000 views, and many commenters spoke in support of the man and ashamed of the cruel idiots at the party who decided to.

One user wrote, “His face in the second picture is breaking my heart,” and another wrote, “I wish we could find him and tell him he’s awesome.”

One writer decided to do just that. Cassandra Fairbanks, who goes by the name Cassandra Rules, launched a Twitter campaign to #FindDancingMan.

“I decided to tweet it and our offer in the hopes if he did see it, he would see something positive instead of a bunch of people upset,” she told Buzzfeed.

After the tweet, some ladies wrote an invitation that the Dancing Man couldn’t refuse.

Soon enough, the Dancing Man was spotted with a charming dinosaur in London, and he connected with Fairbanks.

And refuse, he did not. The mysterious man, apparently named Sean and from London, confirmed his identity with a picture on his new Twitter account, named it Dancing Man (@Dancingmanfound). He promptly responded to Fairbanks, happily accepting her request.

Sean said he will be in Kiev for the next two weeks, but he plans to get down in L.A. shortly after for the party of a lifetime. And it shouldn’t cost him a dime – a GoFundMe page raised over $14k in only several hours to pay for his trip and the party, and donations are still coming in. The page states that they will donate the rest of the unused funds to an anti-bullying organization. In the meantime, he’s apparently started working out in preparation for the party.

The story went so viral that even Pharrell might come to the party.
