A carnival worker caught a 6-year-old boy who was thrown from a ride in Sweden.
The little boy was flung from the ride when his harness came loose.
Thankfully, a carnival worker caught him and carried him to his father. The little boy did not suffer serious injuries.
The screams of the children on the ride got louder as they realized what was happening. People started running toward the carousel to try and catch him, but just before the boy hit the ground, one of the carnival workers reached over a fence and grabbed the boy by the waist.
The boy’s head lightly hit the floor, but he only got a graze on his forehead and was not taken to the hospital.
The boy’s father told 9 News that he saw the horrifying moment unfold out of the corner of his eye.
“I heard some shouting. Then I ran there as fast as I could,” he said.
Emelie Nilsson, whose son was also on the ride, was filming as the six-year-old came loose from his harness.
“It was horrible to see,” Nilsson told Swedish news website Sydsvenskan.
