After her sit-down interview with Hillary Clinton, the first of the Democratic presidential candidate’s campaign, CNN reporter Brianna Keilar appeared on the left-leaning cable-news network and sharply criticized the Democratic presidential contender’s performance.
“I did not hear a more open or transparent Hillary Clinton,” Keilar said.
In the CNN segment, Keilar described several moments when she was dissatisfied with Clinton’s responses.
The CNN reporter recounted how Clinton would not address the issue of the Democratic support and enthusiasm fellow presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders, whom she points out is a self-described “Democratic Socialist,” is receiving.
Keilar then recapped how Hillary Clinton “insisted” that voters should and do trust her, despite numerous polls to the contrary – including a CNN poll that finds nearly 6 in 10 Americans do not find her honest or trustworthy.
Hillary Clinton also wouldn’t address the possibility of a “dynastic race” between herself and former Florida governor Jeb Bush. Such an election would be a familial follow-up to the 1992 race between Mrs. Clinton’s husband Bill Clinton and Jeb Bush’s father George H.W. Bush.
