Rap Music Video With Drugs and Guns Gets Teens Evicted

Several families have been evicted from a federally subsidized apartment complex in Florida after a group of young people released a music video on Youtube featuring drugs and high-powered weapons.

According to WFTV, the rap video featured teenagers and young adults who are a part of the rap group called YJB.

In their music videos, which can be found on YouTube, the young men are seen smoking and waving guns — some of which police say were stolen from the recent Central Florida Fairgrounds gun show.

Watch the video below that got the teens and their families evicted.

(Warning: Explicit language ahead):

At least one video was shot at the Windsor Cove apartment complex off Mercy Drive.

“Yeah, I know all of them,” resident Katherine Sims said. “That’s Windsor Cove.”

The apartment complex is HUD-subsidized, which means there is a ban on gun possession.

When managers of the complex recognized some of the people in the video as Windsor Cove residents, three families were evicted and told to find a new place to live.

“It does concern me because my grandkids walk and play out here,” Sims said.

Sims added that the young men should go to jail because they have made the area unsafe for younger children in the apartment complex.

“It is dangerous, especially when they shoot up in the air like they don’t have good sense,” Sims said.
