Hillary Clinton posted a campaign video on Monday that shows the Democratic presidential candidate wearing a hijab.
The forty-seven second video entitled “Leadership” shows Clinton meeting world leaders in various settings.
Three of the seven scenes of the video that show Clinton meeting world leaders show her meeting with Muslims. One of those scenes shows Clinton wearing a hijab.

One scene shows Clinton getting the red carpet treatment in an unnamed Muslim country, and the next scene shows Clinton wearing a blue hijab on a 2009 visit to Pakistan.
The last scene shows Clinton walking with a man wearing a traditional Muslim white robe called a thobe.
There are no apparent references to any other religion in the Clinton campaign video except for Islam.
Clinton has been seen wearing a hijab in the past during her visit with President Obama to Cairo in 2009.
Some Americans feel that a female U.S. official covering her head does not send a message of respect for their values, but it instead fails to take an opportunity to show ours.
