AT&T has a message for you this Christmas: get off your phone.
The giant telecommunications company pulled all of its retail ads on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and replaced them with one particular spot instead, according to AdWeek.
Although it is firstly a mobile company, at this time of year, it can be irritating for families when kids spend all day on their phones.
This year AT&T decided to address this issue by airing a 60-second video, titled “Present.” The video shows a family together for the holidays, but their teenage daughter is heavily distracted by her phone.
In the final scene, however, she recognizes this and decides to make a change. The girl places her phone in a box, then wraps it as a gift and gives it to her father.
The ad ends with one message: “This season, give the present of being present.”
