Mission Statement

Unrestrained News was created to provide the most recent news in the shortest and simplest way possible so we don’t lose your attention. Our goal is make politics appealing to a larger range of people. The youth of this great country is the future, so we know it is crucial to distribute honest and straightforward facts in layman’s terms. This website has been built up by a young adult in order to show other young adults, and the rest of the general population that doesn’t like easy information to be complex, that news can be interesting and easy to stay up to date with. The word “unrestrained” is an adjective that means “not restrained or restricted” with synonyms including ‘uncontrolled,’ ‘unrestricted,’ ‘rampant,’ and ‘undisciplined.’ This word was chosen because we firmly believe that news should be outright and abundant, and without restrictions on what we should know and what should be kept secret to only the government and the media. This site was created because of our desire to impact the world on a global scale, but also fix America from within. Politics is disregarded to the masses because it’s sad and boring, and oh-so-corrupt. But Unrestrained News wants to change that by bringing both the good and bad news in the most forthright fashion, but all the while offering resources to help each and every one of us to use our anger, joy, and sadness to fuel us to make a positive difference. We love America at Unrestrained News, but we also deeply care about the entire world and every individual person in it. We have the power to fix this country and the world, with one piece of knowledge and one person at a time. Every voice matters.

“My life amounts to no more than one drop in a limitless ocean. Yet what is any ocean but a multitude of drops?” -Cloud Atlas, David Mitchell

“If the freedom of speech is taken away then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter.” –George Washington

“The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is.” –Winston Churchill

“America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.” –Abraham Lincoln
